Origin and History
In 2004, God began to speak to Richard and Sylvia Neusch about planting a church. This was the restoration of a dream that had been planted in their hearts many years earlier. One by one, God brought to walk alongside Richard and Sylvia, five different couples who then made up the core of True Life Fellowship.
This group began meeting in October of 2004. In 2005, each of the six couples started a Journey Group in host homes. In March, all the Journey Groups began to gather once a month on Sunday nights. On July 10, 2005, True Life Fellowship began Sunday morning services in a leased facility on Research Blvd. in Austin, the former St. Barnabas Church facility.
September 18, 2005 was the official Kick-Off Sunday for True Life Fellowship. On September 25, 2005, the first New Member Orientation was held and 34 new members signed their names as the "charter members" of True Life Fellowship.
In December of 2005, True Life left the Research Blvd. facility and moved into another leased facility on 1609 Chisholm Trail Rd.. in Round Rock.
In July 2008, through a series of miraculous events, God opened the way for True Life to purchase a beautiful church facility on 4.15 acres, the former River of Life Community Church, located at 1600 Old Settlers Blvd. in Round Rock.
We are truly grateful to God for His perfect timing and for all the wonderful people who have caught the vision of True Life Fellowship, and are taking their place in this Kingdom endeavor.
