Love Riot

"Love Riot started several years ago when a student in KidMarvel began asking, "what can I do to bring God's love to our community?" What started as a handful of children and their parents loving on the homeless community in downtown Austin has now evolved to impact all seven mountains of society: education, arts & entertainment, government, family, religion, business, and media.

Our heart is to "incite a riot of love and good deeds" by unleashing our young people into the community to encounter others with God's love. Whether visiting city hall with encouraging notes or showering teachers with gift bags and affirmation our goal is to bring the reality of God's goodness to the streets of central Texas.

Love Riot is a family ministry - we would love for children, parents, youth, singles, grandparents and couples to all join us to encounter those outside of the church walls with God's love!

Homeless outreaches will take place on the second Saturday every other month. On these Saturdays we meet at True Life Fellowship at 10AM for a short training and to assign teams. Then we carpool to downtown Austin where we deliver breakfast tacos, prayer, hugs and healing to the homeless community.

On the months that don't have a homeless outreach we will be focusing on impacting different "mountains" of society in our local community.

If you would like to help with the operational costs of Love Riot outreaches, please make your tax-deductible donation by going to and selecting the "Mission" fund.
