LEADERSHIP

PASTORAL STAFF
Richard Neusch
Senior Leader

Richard and Sylvia met as students at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. They were married in 1981 and left that same year to accept their first pastorate. Richard and Sylvia pastored churches in Washington State for nine years, and their two children, Adrienne and Jared, were born in Richland, Washington.
Hungry for more of the Holy Spirit, Richard and Sylvia left their denomination in 1990 and moved to Austin, Texas – Richard's home town – to become part of a church where the Holy Spirit was moving in a powerful way. This began a difficult 10 year "desert" training time for Richard and Sylvia where God began removing old mindsets and replacing them with His heart and plan for their lives. They came to value character over gifting, heart transformation over outward performance, and intimacy with Jesus as foundational to their ministry. The grace and compassion of the Father's heart is a common thread that runs throughout the ministries of their church. They each have a deep desire to see God's Kingdom established here on earth as it is in heaven.
True Life Fellowship was birthed in 2005 and is a reflection of the many things that God has poured into the hearts of Richard and Sylvia.
As Senior Pastor, Richard oversees the Elders and staff, and closely works with the Men's Ministry and the Transformation Ministry. Richard is a gifted speaker and has the ability to make the truths of God's word applicable and practical for everyday life. His strong pastoral gifting causes people to feel loved and encouraged.
Sylvia Neusch
Senior Leader

Sylvia grew up in a small town in South Carolina. After high school she moved to North Carolina to attend Gardner Webb University where she received a B.A. in Music Education. Even as a young child, Sylvia felt a call and desire to be in full-time ministry. She moved to Ft. Worth, Texas following college to pursue this call and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she received a degree in Religious Education. While at seminary, Sylvia met Richard and the two found they had similar passions and desires for ministry. They were married in 1981 and moved to Washington State where they pastored two different churches over the course of nine years. Their two children, Adrienne and Jared were born in Richland, Washington.
Following the leading of the Holy Spirit, Richard and Sylvia left their denomination in 1990 and moved to Austin, Texas to become part of a Spirit-filled church. They served in volunteer ministry in several different churches for the next ten years as they experienced a season of God rebuilding foundations and placing important core values within their hearts. In 2005 they were released to plant True Life in Round Rock, Texas.
At True Life, Sylvia oversees the Women’s Ministry, Prayer Ministry, and Transformation Center. Sylvia and Richard are the Co-Directors of the Austin School of Supernatural Ministry and Regional Directors for Sozo Ministry in Central Texas.
Sylvia desires to see God move powerfully through revival in the churches, cities, and nations of the world. She has a passion to see spiritual orphans step into their true identity as royal sons and daughters of the King.
Alex Morales
Associate Pastor

Alex was born and raised in New York City. He grew up in a Christian home and gave his life to Christ at an early age. After graduating high school, Alex moved to Miami, Florida where he had received a scholarship to study at the University of Miami. After his first year of college, Alex gave up his scholarship and responded to God’s call on his life. He transferred to Trinity International University where he received a BA in Biblical Studies. At the age of 18, he became a Youth Pastor at a local Southern Baptist Church.
By 2006, Alex was the Senior Pastor of a small church in Miami. He began to feel a hunger inside of him for more of God’s presence and power. He received a word from the Lord telling him that he had known God’s Word, but he would now come to know His power. That sent him on a journey to encounter the presence and power of God in a way he had not experienced before. He began to see manifestations of the Holy Spirit in his personal life and ministry.
He met his wife Sarah and they were married in 2008. At that time, he left his position at his church to go on staff at the church his father-in-law was pastoring. Together, Alex and Sarah ministered there until God, through a supernatural encounter, led them to Austin, Texas.
In 2013, Sarah and Alex moved to Round Rock. Sarah became the Worship Pastor at True Life and Alex served in different areas. In 2014, Alex became the Interim Youth Pastor and in 2016 became the Associate Pastor. It is Alex’s desire to see people empowered and equipped to fulfill their God given destiny and advance the kingdom in all that they do.
Sarah Morales

After graduation in 2004, she took the role of Worship and Creative Arts Pastor at her father's church in Miami. For most of her life, she has traveled around the country and the world singing, leading worship for various conferences and ministries but through it all desired someone to love and do life and ministry with.
She met her husband Alex, who also was born and raised in New York City, and was a pastor with a very impacting ministry to teens and young adults. They married in 2008 and have three children, Jude, Elijah and Sadie.
Sarah joined the True Life staff in March of 2013. Together with her husband and her great team, she is ready to see the earth transformed to Heaven’s likeness. Her heart's desire is to see people step into their true identity in Christ and worship from a place of truth, as they declare and release the heart of God over Round Rock, Austin, the region and the nations.

Grant graduated with a double major in Communication Studies and Psychology. They both attended Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA, after graduating. There, Mikaela participated in and led a Side Walk Sunday School program for two years in a low-income neighborhood.
Grant and Mikaela got married in 2012. During their first year of marriage, they felt the Lord calling them to move back to Texas to be a part of the revival here.
Mikaela is also a part-time freelance writer for two magazines. Grant is a seventh grade English teacher. The Cains value ministering in a culture of honor and developing and mentoring others. They both have a heart to see reconciliation in families, church communities and cities.
